Couatl Cloud Palace

Hopefully the disagreement would be resolved amicably, but if not...
This was created as a chapter start for a D&D supplement, and spreads across two pages of a book, with the guttering falling about a third in from the left.
To accomodate this I tailored the composition so that interest occured on both pages, with the guttering falling down the barrier created by the Couatl's left wing. That way I was intending that the supporting characters balanced the point of interest created by the argument.
The Couatl is a naturally very colourful creature, and I chose complimentary colours for the background to help accomodate that, and to suggest that this was his homeland.
