4e D&D; Dungeon Masters Guide - Chapter 11: Fallcrest
Acrylics on board, approx 50cm x 40cm
© Wizards of the Coast. 4e Dungeon Masters Guide; Interior Illustration.

Original artwork for sale; UK£ 2500

Having conquered the dungeon the adventurers seeks a spot of R&R in the local town, but all the citizens can see is a sudden influx of wealth and an opportunity to make some of their own.

I relished the chance to do a busy street scene, and opted to for a top down view to give a panoramic sweep, and slight detachment to the viewer. The two far background areas, top left and right, provide focal points with the eye being led between these two by following the course of the adventurers. Who in turn provide focus through the attentions of the crowd.

so much detail, figures and places to look. like the guy above im not into that kinda thing but its sill fantastic.

I would have thrown in a "where's waldo" but that might ruin the atmosphere.

Take care, SB :ahoy:

Glad you feel the detail isn't too overwhelming, but absorbing as I'd hoped - have a good soak in it ;)

This is beyond amazing! You must be proud of yourself with this one, if not - you'd better be :shakefish:

But honestly, this is a splendid picture. So much detail, everyone and everything in the picture seems important in his own way. A true masterpiece },]

Damn those D&D citizens live in cramped spaces. :D

Love the perspective and details. At closer look you can really see all of the merchants and citizens trying to sell their stuff to the adventurers.
