Shara did achieve great deeds, but at what cost...

Healing Hand has another appearance from Falon (I'm getting quite familiar with this guy now), this time helping out Shara, who nearly bit off more than she could handle by taking on that Troll.

Shara's red clothing helps provide the colour contrast to make her and Falon the focal point, with the nice glowing hand providing the pinpoint. The softened, light. background, also helps pull our eye that way, whilst strengthening Shara's silhouette. It also allowed me to lose the edges around Falon, adding to the mystical feel.

I think I commented on this before, but I would like to again.
I like the way you have the trolls big hand grasping her leg, Falon is watching the troll, wise, it could regenerate quickly, so He has to heal her quickly. The detail, as usual is wonderful and the light effect beautifully done, it first draws us to Falon & Shara, then the sword embedded in the Troll leads us to it.

The Troll is so awesomely done! This is a great scene, the whole story is there. I could sit and explore it for quite some time and still find some new detail.

Beautifully done as is your way, Sir Awesomeness, Bravo!

Not to nerd out, but if that's a troll they'd better get to setting him on fire pretty quick. :D

Amazing as usual! But I'm particularly drawn into this picture. I love the storytelling here. Falon's expression is excellent as well. Loving the colours and composition. The level of detail is so great too.

This really is fantastic.... the expression on the cleric (well, he's holding a sword, so I don't know) is simply perfect for the situation at hand.

I love the texture of the Orc's armor, especially the circular guards around his wrists which look like shields for any player character, it feels like he has weaved together armor from the scraps of his victims.

I wish Falon and Shara'd been given more character development in The Mark of Nerath. Because the book had to juggle about five different plot threads that wove together pretty darn slowly, there wasn't much time for the characters to establish their personalities. The most interesting characters were Magroth and Kalabon, who were the BAD guys!

It's okay for an afternoon time-wasting read, but don't go lookin' for the next Shakespeare in Slavicksek, that's all I'll say. Plus it kind of bugged me that apparently the last empire in the world, a beacon of tolerance and righteousness in the world, was apparently founded on pacts with the Demon Prince of the Undead, and its success was won through the ritual sacrifice of innocents (early on in the book, when Magroth is assassinated, he was about to order the execution of an entire city's child population as punishment for simply allowing rebels to exist in the city, which actually was a cover-up for the fact that he was just going to sacrifice the children to Orcus).

There's better stuff out there anyway. Still despite that book's mediocrity your pictures of the iconics really are amazing. They give them all the personality the book couldn't.
