"The warrior's bloodlust expressed itself in a bloodcurdling yell, if all this island held was a few pesky Goblins then it would soon be hers..."

I was asked to create a dynamic image of a charging figure for this book's cover. In order to do this I combined a number of approaches, a low viewpoint, strong foreshortening on the key figure, a tiltled horizon, and contrasting palette; the red stands out boldly against the predominantly blues and greens of the rest of the painting.
