A corrupt Chaos temple, dedicated to Nurgle, is assaulted by a force comprising religious figures from all the major temples in the Empire.
This is a wraparound cover, making it a diffilcult composition, as the right hand side needs to work on its own as a front cover, whilst the whole also needs to hang together as a single picture. I decided to create a sweeping composition that runs in a loose arc across the whole picture.
There are a lot of figures in the composition, and in some ways it is quite cluttered. To help bring some order there are various light sources dotted around that provide their own areas of focus and attention. In a further emphasis the central figures and demon are set against the strongly contrasting green.
I hope you enjoy looking at the piece. To see it at its largest click the download option - this will fairly quickly bring up the largest image possible.
I'm stunned - there's so much going on in this piece that it's impossible to take in with one glance ... not that anybody's ever going to WANT to give it a single glance, it just begs to be studied
You've really captured the chaos and confusion of a relatively large-scale battle, this is fantastic!
my brain is overstimulated by the sheer magnitude of such a chaotic slugfest.wonderful piece i especially love how you didnt skimp on each of the characters personalities they all look different
