The powerful Warlock and his beast companion overlook the blasted lands around them, steely indifference in his heart.
This is an unusual layout for card art. The piece needed to function as the Portariat shown here, but also when cropped down to more conventional card proportions ( at a point just below is lower hand).
I tried to play with this by using a spotlit effect upon the Mage, whilst letting his lower robes, and the ground around him fall into shadow.
This is so cool. When I started playing this game nearly three years ago, this was the very first hero card I played with. Wonderful artwork, greatly captures the warlock feel. !
Apparently I've been admiring your work for quite some time now and have never known your name as the artist, fantastic, simply fantastic. You are very creative and the way you draw you really bring your creations to life, please I don't leave comments like these usually but just wanted to say keep up the OUTSTANDING work. *deep sinister voice* I see you becoming greatest of all jedi.... er artists...
Wonderful artwork, greatly captures the warlock feel.
